Been working as a HH PTA for about 2 years now, thinking about transitioning to an S-corp but it costs about $1500 to do it after being advised by my tax lady/ accountant that it would help protect my assets by separating them and I could save on taxes. Wondering if anyone else had done this and whether or not it was worth it? Also was informed that I would have to get an additional professional liability insurance as well.
Hi, I'm also a PTA in rancho Cucamonga area! I service mostly the inland empire and Riverside. I did hear about this topic but from a different reasoning. One of the companies I work for is asking my to register as a business...that it's supposed to be a requirement. I'm looking into registration as LLC but I'm not very sure what to do and researching at the moment. What company are u working for?
