I'm about to graduate from PTA school in Arkansas (#1 school in the country for board passing rate… no biggie ;) Anywho I want to get the f out of Arkansas but I'm not sure I'm quite sold on doing a traveling gig (I'm 33 and want to start setting roots somewhere). However, everywhere I look that seems like a great place to work invariably requires several years of experience. It seems kinda tough job searching when I don't have the means to just move somewhere and start applying and interviewing (not a lot of cash) and I'll sooner kill myself than live in a nowheres-ville esque town just to get a few years of experience for a resume. Anybody have luck moving to a cool city where there's less demand for employees? Where would you go if the world was your oyster? (i'm thinking the west side of the country… denver, washington, portland… I lived in Los Angeles for awhile but dunno how badly I can deal with that again haha) ALSO! I don't want to work in a hospital or your basic outpatient. I know there are places that have unique philosophies on rehab… examples would be pilates-based PT or yoga based.. Anybody have a job like that? Anybody have a unique environment they work in? (like maybe one where they actually open the windows!) Thanks! - Jeremy
